Dick Church's Experience

It took seven years, but I finally went to Dick Church’s for breakfast. I’ve been driving by this place every day for years. This place is 50 years old, and it has the charm you would expect. As we sat there at 9am on a Sunday, we watched the regulars file in. Everyone who walked in, new someone else who was already there. We told our waitress that we were “first timers”. After we had eaten she came back and asked us “How was your Dick Church’s experience?” We had a good laugh, and I had the title for my blog post!

A Toast for Hope Benefit for Jim McLaughlin
25 FebAs many of you know, I used to be in a few bands back in the 90′s. One of those bands was Open Focus, and the singer/leader of that band was a good friend of mine, Jim McLaughlin. Jim has a disease of the eye that has caused him to go blind.
